Fred Berlinsky started his career in Commercial Real Estate in 1986. After graduating in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral & Social Sciences from the University of Maryland and receiving his law degree from the University of South Carolina in 1984, Fred spent a few years practicing law prior to joining Markeim-Chalmers in 1986. Over the years, Fred has had the privilege to represent various national firms, including the Miller Brewing Company, Canon Financial Services, Global Industries , Teknion, LLC and Commerce Bank.
Outside of work, Fred is very active within the community. He is a former Board Member of the Jewish Community Center of Southern New Jersey, Advisory Board Member at Sun National Bank, former Board Member of the Star Forum and was formerly a Board Member with Volunteers of America. A true sports lover, Fred also is former Chairman of the Maccabi Sports Program and Director/Coach of the Cherry Hill Travel Basketball Program.
Fred resides in Cherry Hill with his wife, Shelli, and their three sons.

Kevin Burns received his real estate license in 1997 and shortly after joined the team at Markeim-Chalmers, Inc. He became partner in 2006. Specializing in the sale and lease of office properties, Kevin sold more than $6,000,000 in commercial real estate in 2004.
Receiving a full football scholarship, Kevin is a 1994 graduate of Rutgers University with an Administration of Justice Degree while playing on the school's football team. Currently, he resides in Haddonfield, NJ with his wife, Deanna, and their four children. Kevin is active in his community and is a member of the Haddonfield Zoning Board, and the Haddonfield Lions Club and Haddonfield Youth Football.

In September 2007, Seth Hersh joined Markeim-Chalmers (MCI) with his focus on building the firm's retail division. His responsibilities include acquiring new listings, evaluating investment opportunities and managing landlord/tenant negotiations.
Prior to joining MCI, Seth was a Vice President with Legend Properties Commercial Real Estate in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, where he spent five years developing the company's local retail efforts. In this role, he worked with national, regional and local clients to negotiate sale and lease agreements for listings ranging from 10,000 to 50,000 square feet. Seth also spent eight years with Louis Ross Associates in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He received his New Jersey Brokers License in 1999 and Real Estate Sale License in 1992.
Seth is a long time resident of South Jersey and an active member of the community. He was born and raised in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, and currently resides in Marlton, New Jersey with his growing family.
Morton Kerr started his career with Markeim-Chalmers, Inc. in 1955 and worked closely with the original founders J. William Markeim and William Chalmers. In 1965, Morton took the reins as the president upon the retirement of both founders and is currently Chairman of the Board of Markeim-Chalmers.
During his 40+ years in commercial real estate, Morton has held many key membership positions, including Past President of Camden County Real Estate Board (1968), Past Commissioner of the Camden County Board of Taxation (1971-1977), Past Trustee of the West Jersey Health Systems (Virtua Health) and Past Trustee of Y.M.C.A. Currently, he holds positions as Director, Commerce Bank and Chairman of its Real Estate and Appraisal Committee.
Brent Kintzing joins Markeim-Chalmers after relocating from New York City where he worked as an agent with Sotheby's International Auction House - Real Estate Division. Along with the experience of showing exclusive properties throughout the fast-paced, New York metropolitan area, Brent brings an eagerness to learn all there is to know about the commercial real estate industry.
Brent graduated from Duke University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Public Policy Studies and Art History. He was a nationally ranked competitive swimmer and went on to swim for the Duke Blue Devils. Brent is a true advocate for his community and his efforts have included participation with the Big Brother Program, Clean Community, K-12 Tutoring and the Special Olympics.

Scott joined Markeim-Chalmers as Senior Associate in October 2007 and is responsible for landlord representation, tenant representation and investment sales.
Scott Martin joins MCI after spending the last four (4) years as Senior Advisor, Office Service with Grubb & Ellis Company in Marlton, New Jersey. In this position, his duties included tenant representation and relocation, lease negotiations, project leasing, financial analysis, investment analysis and landlord representation for both office and flex properties for sale and lease. He has worked with clients such as Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll LLP, Cooper Health System, Goodyear Tire and Rubber, Laboratory Corporation of America, Lourdes Health System, Make a Wish Foundation, JS Hovnanian and Liberty Mutual to name a few.
Prior to commercial real estate, Scott Martin spent seven years in the financial industry. He was Vice President with Wachovia Securities and Financial Advisor/Vice President with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Scott received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Throughout the years, Scott has been active in the community both professionally and personally. His affiliations include membership with TriState Commercial Office Associates, The Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and South Jersey Chamber of Commerce. He is a committee member with the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia and advisory committee member with the Jewish Committee Foundation of Southern New Jersey. Personally, Scott coaches both soccer and basketball as well as dedicates time to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and Make A Wish Foundation.
Scott Martin was born and raised in Southern New Jersey and currently resides in Bala Cynwyd with his wife and two sons.

Colin Necky started his career in commercial real estate and with Markeim-Chalmers in 1985, specializing in shopping center development and national tenant representation. He has successfully developed shopping centers with a mixture of local and national tenants as well as sold and leased thousands of square feet in commercial real estate throughout Southern New Jersey.
In 1993, Colin licensed by the Board of Real Estate Appraisers of the State of New Jersey as a Certified General Appraiser and soon after was promoted to Markeim-Chalmers' Vice President of the Commercial Appraisal Division, specializing in appraisals of office, retail, automotive, industrial and shopping center space. In this role, Colin works primarily with financial institutions, attorneys, county government and Local Municipalities. He has been an expert witness, testifying before State, County, Municipal and Arbitration Boards on subjects involving condemnation, eminent domain and tax appeals.
Colin resides in Voorhees with his son.

David Necky started with Markeim-Chalmers' Appraisal Division in 1991 and received his license from the Board of Real Estate Appraisers of the State of New Jersey as a Certified General Appraiser. In this role, David focuses on office, retail and industrial appraisals.
David is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Administration. He resides in Voorhees with his wife, Reba, and their two children.

Matthew Neisser joined Markeim-Chalmers (MCI) in February 2007 and his responsibilities include acquiring new commercial listings, searching properties for investors and managing landlord/tenant negotiations.
Prior to joining MCI, Matthew was an associate with Berkley Capital Partners in Mount Laurel, where he gained experience in real estate and development, specifically in the acquisition of developable land and distressed properties. He also worked for Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase and T&M Associates, expanding upon his skills in accounting and financial analysis.
Matthew is a graduate of Rutgers University - New Brunswick with Bachelor of Science in Finance and is a licensed New Jersey realtor. He currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and outside of work, he volunteers for the Jewish Camden Partnership and Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Joe Riggs has been licensed to sell and lease real estate since 1980 and after years of working at various firms throughout South Jersey, Joe joined Markeim-Chalmers, Inc. in 1997. During his 20+ year career, Joe has successfully sold over $25,000,000 and leased more than $5,000,000 in commercial real estate transactions. The majority of these transactions involved office properties.
A lifetime resident of Haddonfield, NJ, Joe graduated from Glassboro State College and received his Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA. Currently, he is Haddonfield's Fire Chief, a member of Rotary International and on the Board of Directors of the Genesis Counseling Center and Haddonfield Ambulance Association.

Harriet Summers obtained her real estate license in 1997 and joins Markeim-Chalmers with over 15 years commercial real estate experience, specializing in industrial and flex warehouse space. Her areas of expertise also include extensive property management knowledge.
Harriet is a graduate of Trenton State College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and also received her Certificate in Tax and Estates from the Paralegal Institute. She resides in Cinnaminson with her husband and two teenage daughters, and is a current member of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce.
